Reflection: The greatest tool I´ve used to enhance my vocabulary is highlighting words I don´t know and looking up the definition, because there are a lot of words I do not know in Spanish. Another tool I used was the dictionary because it was already translated for you. I motivated my partners by helping them come up with questions to practice. During the final, I helped them by asking the questions so they could have chances to get their opinions out. My goals are to keep having long and strong conversations with people other than my family members. I would like to keep speaking Spanish, so I won´t forget the language. I feel way more comfortable speaking Spanish with people other than my family members than in the beginning of the year. I usually only talked in Spanish to my family, so having these conversations with classmates helped me get more comfortable with Spanish. I think I´ll be able to have a conversation with a stranger depending on their Spanish level, and how much they understand compared to me. In the future, I would like to discuss real world situations and problems. Maybe we could also talk about our school year and career plans. I did not really have a choice in picking the Spanish speakers to be my partners for the final. I like how we did it in a group instead of just one partnership. I have watched television in Spanish ever since I was little and still do. I think it was helpful that my parents watched movies and television in Spanish when I was little because that made me get used to the language. I have also always listened to music in Spanish and I still do, because my mom listens to Spanish radios in the afternoon sometimes. I practice Spanish by continuing to speak the language with my family. I made a lot of personal connections with the articles, and even though sometimes I couldn´t understand what the articles were saying , I could still make some small connections. I made connections by putting myself into the people´s shoes.
